Connect the day.
Scheduling, clinical work, conversations and clinic operations belong in the same picture.
ABOUT CUE / OUR ABA STORY
The contracts. The recommended software.
The apps that still didn’t quite connect.
We know the gaps because we worked through them.
From running a clinic
to building Cue.
For ten years, we did what many ABA clinic owners do. We signed the contracts, used the software people recommended and invested time in making it work for our team.
Scheduling in one place. Clinical records in another. Team conversations and billing elsewhere. We juggled the apps, but our team still had to connect the pieces to get through the day.
We saw what helped, what got in the way and where a tool left us looking for another solution. Over a decade, that experience gave us a clear view of what we wanted to change.
That is where the vision for Cue came from: bring the work together and address the gaps we kept encountering in the platforms we used.
Our goal is to make the details easier to manage, the next step clearer and the working day more connected—for the people delivering care and the people keeping the clinic moving.
We recently attended the IBAO conference in Italy. As Cue grows, we want to keep looking beyond our own clinic experience and build with a wider community in mind. Wherever care happens, the people behind it deserve thoughtful tools and support.
THE EXPERIENCE BECAME THE BRIEF
Our experience continues to guide the decisions we make.
Scheduling, clinical work, conversations and clinic operations belong in the same picture.
Owners, BCBAs, RBTs and parents experience the clinic differently. From a new practice to an established team, each deserves tools that respect their role and make the next step clearer.
Our advisory group brings three perspectives to the same question: how will this work for the people using Cue? Their feedback helps us question assumptions and refine what comes next.
Built with care. Based in the United States.
Headquartered in the United States, Cue brings together an international engineering team, clinical advisors, and support professionals committed to better tools for ABA care.
Our engineering collaborators span Colombia, Spain, and Prague, with customer support based in the United States and Europe. Together, we share a vision of making everyday work better for ABA clinics.
MEET FRANCISCO
Founder
Francisco is the founder of Cue. His background brings together technology management, business and ten years of experience running an ABA clinic.
Read Francisco’s storyFrancisco Javier Lopez is the founder of Cue. His background brings together technology management, business and ten years of experience running an ABA clinic.
Interested in business since his twenties, Francisco studied computer science, business analytics and marketing before moving into freelance technology management. His path has developed through practical work: learning how businesses operate, understanding the problems people face and finding ways technology can help.
Running an ABA clinic gave that work a particular purpose. He signed the software contracts, adopted the recommended platforms and worked through the gaps between them. Scheduling, clinical records, team communication and billing each had their own tools, but connecting the day still required too much effort from the people delivering care.
That experience became the starting point for Cue.
Today, Francisco guides Cue’s vision alongside an international engineering team, with clinical and operational input from Cue’s advisory group. He brings the perspective of a clinic owner who has lived the work and is committed to making it easier.
Cue is an international team with a shared ambition: to support the clinicians, families and communities caring for autistic people around the world. For Francisco, that means continuing to listen, learning from the people using the platform and building something useful alongside them.
OUR ADVISORY GROUP
Owners, BCBAs, RBTs and parents experience the same clinic in different ways. We care about making Cue useful, clear and considerate for every one of them.
Our three advisors bring perspectives from clinical quality and compliance, clinical leadership and everyday team support. Their feedback helps our engineering collaborators turn that commitment into practical platform decisions, grounded in Francisco’s experience as a clinic owner.
A clear view of the clinic, the team and the work ahead.
Clinical information that supports decisions and supervision.
Practical tools for the session, with fewer interruptions.
Clear communication and a meaningful place in their child’s care.
CLINICAL QUALITY & COMPLIANCE ADVISOR
Kelly brings more than twenty years in behavioral health, from direct ABA and feeding therapy to executive leadership, quality and compliance.
CLINICAL ADVISOR · CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Makenzie is a BCBA and clinical director, bringing the perspective of someone responsible for guiding clinical work and supporting the team delivering it.
CLINICAL ADVISOR · ASSISTANT CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Natalia is an assistant clinical director, bringing the perspective of someone supporting clinical leadership and the everyday coordination that helps a care team work together.
Dr. Kelly Lopez has spent more than twenty years in behavioral health, and her career began where the work matters most: sitting beside a child and family as an applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapist. Those early years shaped everything that came after. They taught her that real progress is built one small, meaningful step at a time, and that families are partners, not bystanders.
That conviction carried her from therapist to behavior analyst, and then into the specialized world of intensive feeding therapy. In feeding therapy, a single meal can be a family’s greatest daily struggle, and patience and precision make all the difference. Her work has taken her far beyond one community or one country. She has provided ABA and feeding therapy to families in the United States, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Italy, and Spain. Bilingual in English and Spanish and conversational in Portuguese, French, and Italian, she has learned to meet families in their own language and culture, and to see behavior through more than one lens.
As her clinical expertise deepened, so did her desire to shape the systems that surround care. At Equanimity Behavioral Services, she grew from Clinical Director to Executive Compliance and Quality Officer, and ultimately to Chief Executive Officer. As CEO, she led 165 employees across two locations. She never lost sight of the children and families at the center of the organization.
Today, Dr. Lopez brings that same commitment to SalusCare, Inc. in Fort Myers, Florida, where she serves as Director of Continuous Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance Officer. She has built the organization’s quality and compliance foundation from the ground up. That work includes governance structures, incident reporting, risk analysis, and the data that helps leaders see clearly and act wisely, all in service of care that is safer and more consistent for every person who walks through the door.
Her influence extends across the field as well. Dr. Lopez is a CARF International surveyor and has served on the advisory board of the International Behavior Analysis Organization (IBAO) for four years. As a consultant for Cue, she helped shape the platform from both the clinical and operational side, so that it supports the people doing the work. She is also a contributing author to Dr. Lena Hall’s A Psychology of American Culture (Edwin Mellen Press, 2015).
Dr. Lopez holds a Doctorate in Health Sciences, a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis, a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She is an International Behavior Analyst (IBA) certified through IBAO, holds the QABA credential, and is a Licensed Clinical Behavior Analyst in Texas.
Across every role, from a single child’s progress to an entire organization’s quality, her purpose has stayed the same: care that is effective, ethical, and deeply human.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
Cue is already being used by clinics in the United States, Italy, Türkiye and Spain. We’re early in our story, with a decade of clinic experience behind us and more to build alongside the teams using Cue.
